Sacraments
We the Community of San Gabriel Mission have been anointed in Baptism and sent forth with compassion to witness to God’s loving and liberating presence. All of us celebrate with joy the Gospel of life and the Sacraments which nourish and empower us with the Spirit of Christ (exerpted from the Parish Mission Statement).
The seven Sacraments touch all the stages and important moments of Christian life: they revitalize the soul, promote healing and give greater meaning to the mission of a Christian life of faith. There is thus a resemblance between the stages of natural life and the stages of spiritual life.
